Enrollment Procedures

Step 1: Inquiry

Contact the Pearl Center to inquire about openings and services that might meet your needs. You can contact us by either calling 864-675-9200 or by completing our contact page.

Step 2: Visit

Take a tour of the Pearl Center and meet with the Program Director. This will give you a chance to see what is happening at the center firsthand. This also gives the Program Director the opportunity to meet you and your student.

Step 3: Secure screenings and assessments

If you do not have an educational assessment you will need to get one. These assessments are necessary for properly evaluating the students and how Pearl can best help them. If the student is in K5 or 1^st grade the Pearl Center can schedule a Search screening. For students in 2^nd grade and above, we can provide you with a list of agencies that provide the needed assessment. There is also a list available at www.pearlcenterforlearning.com under the Admissions tab.

Step 4: Complete an Application

While waiting for the assessment you can complete the application found at www.pearlcenterforlearning.com under the Admissions Tab or clicking the link below. A final admission decision will not be determined until the assessment results have been reviewed.

Step 5: Enroll

When a decision has been made you will be contacted and provided with an enrollment form. Complete the enrollment form with deposit to secure your place in the appropriate program.

Step 6: Therapist Assignment

Once the enrollment process is complete your student will be assigned a therapist. The therapist will then contact you to introduce themselves, go over some details, and work out times for the sessions.

If you are enrolled in classes the classroom teacher will be reaching out to introduce themselves.
